We will be electing a new committee and are seeking nominations for all positions: Co-chair (2 positions) Treasurer (1) Secretary (1) Members-at-Large (4 positions, of which one is reserved to represent Affiliate Members; if no Affiliate Member runs, the position may be filled by a Full or Associate Member).

We are accepting nominations until the start of the meeting, but if you intend to run, we'd be grateful if you would let us know as soon as possible. You can submit nominations or request more information by contacting rebecca (at) asapireland.org or thea (at) asapireland.org.

Please note that in order to run for a position on the ASAPI committee and vote for committee members, you must be a member of ASAPI. If you aren't sure if your organization has formally joined, please contact us. Autumn Workshop: Encouraging Resilience and Independence in Study Abroad

How can study abroad professionals bring our perspective - which particularly values the opportunities presented by discomfort, ambiguity, and struggle in developing intercultural skills - to helping today’s young adults develop the resilience and independence that past generations were given the opportunity to learn at a much younger age?

POSITION FILLED - Dublin Business School - Business Calculus Lecturer

DBS is currently recruiting a Business Calculus lecturer to teach and assess learners from the USA according to a defined curriculum. The lecturer will join a team of twelve lecturers in the Department who share a passion for teaching, learning and research. The Study Abroad Department is the academic unit within Dublin Business School (DBS) tasked with teaching, administering and assessing undergraduate students from the United States of America in conjunction with partner universities and colleges. POSITION FILLED - FIE Internship and Programme Coordinator

FIE Dublin is seeking an Internship and Programme Coordinator responsible for developing and managing FIE’s internship provision in Dublin, and overseeing all aspects of internship delivery from sourcing placements to collecting student evaluations, effectively building FIE Dublin’s internship provision from the ground.  The IPC will also work alongside FIE Dublin staff and assist in all aspects of operational delivery.
