The development and rollout of the International Education Mark mandated by Irish legislation (particulary its expected use as a prerequisite for leave to remain in Ireland) will affect the vast majority of study abroad providers in Ireland. The community which has evolved into ASAPI has been active in engaging QQI and the Department of Education in a discussion about the breadth and variety of the study abroad community in Ireland, international best practice in the field of study abroad, and ensuring the continued vibrancy and variety of quality study abroad opportunities for students.
