Job Title: Assistant Resident Director – Dublin

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Salary: €45,000 gross per annum

Preferred Start Date: 1st August 2023

Job Summary

The Assistant Resident Director serves supports the overall leadership and operation of FIE's operation in Dublin and represents FIE to our students and partners. The primary objective of this position is the successful planning, management, delivery, review and enhancement of programmes in Dublin. Whilst the role maintains a strong focus on operational management, the Assistant Director will equally be a point of contact and resource for students, colleagues, university and academic partners.  

Required experience, skills & qualifications:

  •  Energetic, friendly and approachable personality

  •  Experience working with students and/or in customer-service.

  •  In-depth knowledge of Ireland: its culture, people, government, economics, and education system

  •  Knowledge of the United States: its culture, people, government, economics, and education system

  •  Commitment to promote intercultural competence.

  •  Excellent management and organizational skills

  •  Superb time management skills

  •  First-rate intercultural and interpersonal communication skills

  •  Event planning experience

  •  Patience and resourcefulness
